The existing Headphone System on the Studio Floor for Musicians to monitor their choice of the mix they prefer has been in use since 2002 and still works well, but current technology suggests the use of Bluetooth and other facilities on a Studio Floor Mixer should be available.

The new units are made by Citronic, the CSD-8 Mixer with built-in Bluetooth Receiver and DSP Effects.
